Who We Are
In 2017, with the desire of the Company to allow its mother companies namely WIDUS INTERNATIONAL LEISURE, INC. (WILI) and WIDUS PHILIPPINES INC. (WPI) to have a more committed, efficient and regular medium of help to community, the executive committee started with the collaboration of ideas and conceptualization of projects to help In need communities. In their coordination with DepEd Angeles City Division Office, they have chosen the Special Education Center of the Angeles City Elementary School to be the primary beneficiary for their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. WIDUS then, build and rehabilitated the structural frame of the building, repainted the walls, provided specialized tables and chairs, and installed a roofing for their play area. This lead then to initiating more projects such as the School Supplies project and the Adopt a Library Project which was implemented in June and July 2017. According to Mr. Han, the President and CEO of WIDUS, since day one, the idea of having a Foundation has always been a dream for the WIDUS Hotel and Casino, a facet that will allow to have more opportunities to help communities in need and to formalize and execute its responsibilities to the community in a caring and professional way. This led to securing all necessary documents and financials to officially register the WIDUS Foundation Inc. (WFI). In June 07, 2017, WIDUS Foundation Inc. marked its official launching and was presented to the Pampanga Press Club (PPC) as a duly registered Foundation inside Clark Freeport under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
